police in Pader District have arrested a woman for allegedly killing her co-wife
in Nekneno village, Atoo Parish.
suspect Winnie Adoch allegedly stabbed Winnie Lawino to death using a knife in a
cassava garden. Okot reveals that the suspect who has been the second wife in
the marriage is reported to have approached Lawino and requested her to sell
her some cassava.

Bongtiko Sub County LCIII Chairperson John Bosco Lugela says that the
deceased had multiple injuries on the neck, throat and head. He adds that the
suspect after committing the crime reportedly went into hiding but later handed
herself to the village LCI Chairperson who took her to Pajule Police Station.

Aswa River Region Police Spokesperson David Mudong Ongom says a post-mortem
report conducted indicates that the deceased succumbed to over bleeding and
grave injuries. He says that the deceased was stabbed four times in the neck.
