The Youth in Kasese are demanding that all candidates from various political parties focus on unemployment and sports  and revamping the district’s mining sector. They argue that the candidates have continuously lacked manifesto’s that are focused on youth.

They add that they have not benefited from the mining, tourism and the fishing industry even when they are the majority.

Anderson Masereka a resident of Kamaiba main in Kasese Municipality, says that the leaders need to focus on empowering the youth to be financially independent.
